Art Aquarium

The art exhibits I have seen in Japan thus far have been absolutely amazing! As I have mentioned before Japanese attention to detail and presentation is unlike what I have ever seen before. On Vishaal's last night visiting me in Tokyo we went to the art aquarium.  This exhibit was one of the coolest ones I had ever been to as it took a very common subject of an aquarium and literally turned it into a work of art. This aquarium only had goldfish.  I was not even aware that there were more types of goldfish than the ones kids have in elementary school or the ones we eat. The aquarium turned their exhibit into a work of art by playing with the shapes of tanks, placement of the fish, as well as the lighting and music.   At night the aquarium turns into a type of lounge featuring different performances, DJs, and naturally cocktails.  The night that we went there was a stage set up in the aquarium and geishas were performing traditional Japanese dances.  Also, I had the best cocktail I have had in Tokyo at the exhibit.  It was a peach drink with an entire peach sliced into it.  I definitely would not be surprised if I went back another time before it closes down in a couple weeks!
