Earthquake Alert

CA is notorious for earthquakes.  People in CA are super chilled out about the fact that we live practically on top of a fault line. I have lived there my whole life without experiencing a major earth quake but still when I hear an earth quake alarm my first instinct is to "Stop, drop, and roll".

Today at work all of a sudden all of our phones played a very loud alarm sound and displayed the message pictured below.  This was an emergency alert telling us that there was a significant earthquake coming in Nara, Japan.  

While Tokyo was not affected at all, my coworkers started telling us stories from the aftershocks of the massive earthquake that hit Tokyo last.  My office in Tokyo has a safety pack underneath each desk.  These packs include helmets....Teddy is modeling below:
